Our Founder: The Heart Behind Mama’s Who Brunch!
Hey, I’m Katie – mum of two, brunch enthusiast, and the heart and soul behind Mama’s Who Brunch!
After moving from London to the countryside, I found myself craving connection with other mums who truly understood the highs and lows of motherhood. I went to various local baby groups but struggled to find something that really felt like me. When your little ones are so young, do they really need a baby class—or do we as mums need that interaction, after long days spent on our own?
One day, while chatting about my idea for a mums’ brunch, a lovely lady said something that stuck with me: What have you got to lose? So, I took the leap—and here we are, nearly two years later! Mama’s Who Brunch has grown into a thriving community, with events across eight locations in Hertfordshire, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. Along the way, I’ve been lucky to welcome two incredible hosts, who were mums at my brunches, who share my vision: to support, nurture, and empower mums by giving them the connection, conversation, and sense of belonging they truly need.
As my children grew, I realised that as a mum of two, it was hard to find something that supported that next transition—moving beyond the baby years into the ever-changing phases of motherhood. That’s why we’ve launched Supper Clubs, workshops, parties, and so much more! Mama’s Who Brunch isn’t just for new mums; we’re here to support you from bump to beyond.
Mamas Who Brunch isn’t just about coffee and brunch (though we do love those too!)—it’s about finding your village. I can’t wait to welcome you to our next event!
